A Safe Journey with Corsair!

Now that CHA is over, there is an opportunity to share some of the projects that were used to decorate the booth for LDRS Creative!  I'm thrilled that one of the buyers wanted this ship displayed in her store to show off some of the NEW LDRS Creative products she has invested in!!  THANK YOU!!

Hobby Lobby has so many adorable wood shapes to choose from!  I knew I needed to color the adorable little pirate "Corsair" from the Dollhouse collection and what better to show her off than an altered ship!!  Better yet, a Pirate ship!!  It was perfect!

The altering portion of the project was mostly from my stash but the first thing was to stain the wood!  For this I used Walnut ink!  Just Spray on and let it dry!  Be sure to rotate the ship in order to get into all the nooks and crannies!  I did do a bit of shopping in the 1/2 off section of the jewelery section of the hobby store to "deck" this item out!!  Get the pun?  lol

INGREDIENTS:
Corsair image from Dollhouse
Wishing You Sentiment

In order to get a bit of a metal feel into the project, I used my Inka Gold metal paint

 MEDIUMS:
Copics
Water colors
Inka gold metal cream
Uniball Signo White pen
Walnut Inks and Distress stains

 EMBELLISHMENTS:
Rope, papers, and jewels from stash and Hobby Lobby
